About The Company

Altrax is a Melbourne-based specialist in tight-access equipment and jobsite solutions — conveyor systems, compact plant, noise‑suppression and dust‑control products. Their clients range from smaller builders and landscapers through to DIY and renovation companies, and the business is growing rapid, with plans to expand the hire fleet and equipment range.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated, personable Sales Representative to grow the business across Melbourne metro area. This is a field‑based role for someone who genuinely enjoys getting in front of people, solving problems, and watching their pipeline grow.

Based in Bayswater North and out on the road across Melbourne and regional Victoria, you'll be responsible for:

- Winning new accounts and growing existing customers across Altrax's hire and sales range
- Building strong face‑to‑face relationships across demolition, landscaping, excavation, construction, civil, maintenance, hire shops and equipment suppliers
- Generating leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, and tender/project research
- Preparing accurate quotes and following up all enquiries promptly
- Maintaining HubSpot CRM — contacts, leads, quotes, pipeline activity
- Working closely with Operations on equipment availability, delivery and customer commitments
- Weekly activity planning and KPI reporting

Who We Are Looking For

- 2–4 years experience in sales, business development, account management,



trade counter or a similar customer‑facing role
- Background in construction, equipment hire, machinery, landscaping, civil, logistics or trade supply is a strong advantage
- Current unrestricted Australian driver licence — you'll be on the road regularly
- HubSpot CRM experience, or willingness to learn
- A genuine drive to succeed — this role suits someone who's hungry, coachable, and wants to build something
