About The Role

In this dynamic and quick-evolving environment, no two days are the same. As a member of the foundation team, your contribution will leave a legacy. Working closely with and reporting to the foundation Business Manager, you will play a key role in establishing effective administrative and operational systems that underpin the school's success. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow professionally while helping build strong, efficient, and future-focused business operations from the ground up.

As part of a shared, co-located secondary school and special school campus, you will contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and highly collaborative workplace culture that supports staff, students, and the broader community. Working in close partnership with colleagues across both settings, you will help design, implement, and embed responsive, sustainable, and inclusive administrative practices that meet the needs of a diverse learning environment.

- Lead and manage the school's business operations.
- Supervise, support, and develop school support staff.
- Manage budgets, finances, payroll, purchasing, and financial reporting.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure financial compliance.
- Oversee facilities, maintenance, contractors, and school resources.
- Coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and workforce planning.
- Provide high-level administrative support, reports, and correspondence.
- Build positive relationships with staff, community members, and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficient service delivery.
- Support student wellbeing through responsive and professional interactions.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, departmental policies, and school procedures.
