Amazon Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in driving innovation and ensuring effective execution within transportation networks. This proactive leader will inspire a team to achieve performance goals, monitor attendance and workflow, and resolve issues. The work schedule is the back half of the dispatch shift, Wednesday to Saturday. Amazon Operations and Distribution is a 24/7 environment, and shifts may change due to business needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Contribute to fostering a solid health and safety culture by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies
- Assist in the daily oversight and management of departmental tasks
- Conduct staff debriefs, ensuring all paperwork is accurately and thoroughly completed
- Perform duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Allocate tasks to staff as needed to maintain workflow and meet daily performance targets
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for your area, including managing call outs for training, addressing absences, overseeing performance, providing coaching, and continually monitoring department productivity
- Support the onboarding and training of new associates to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge to perform required tasks
- Collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in tracking, analyzing, and reporting Exchange Point metrics




- Support the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in identifying and understanding factors contributing to the achievement or shortfall of Exchange Point objectives
- Monitor and report on associate hours and schedules
- Address and resolve process–related issues within the area as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of equipment defects

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in warehouse operations
- Experience in logistics
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 20 kg, stand, walk, and walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- This role is for Back End Dispatch shift 05:30 am to 15:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing teams
- Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement
