Full-Time Hotel and Motel Manager

Salary: $79,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Responsibilities

- Manage the overall daily operations of the hotel, ensuring efficient service delivery across all departments.
- Supervise reservations, reception, front office, room service, housekeeping, maintenance, and security operations.
- Coordinate food and beverage operations, including the restaurant, bar, conference, and function facilities.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to ensure high standards of customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, control purchasing, and oversee accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and other relevant statutory regulations.
- Monitor customer feedback, resolve guest enquiries and complaints,



and implement service improvements.
- Provide guests with local tourism information and assist in arranging tours and transportation services.

Skills and Qualifications

- AQF associate degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality and business qualification.
- Proven work experience as a Café and Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage hotel operations, accommodation services, guest services, food and beverage operations, and staff supervision.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full-time and on a rotating roster.
