About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise to join a leading banking client in Sydney. This role will focus on delivering technology solutions across the Cards & Payments domain, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and integration partners to gather requirements, analyse data, and support end-to-end solution delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands‑on experience with payment technologies, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyse data using SQL to support business decisions, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
- Define and document API and system integration requirements.
- Support integrations involving Kafka, MQ,



TCP/IP, and enterprise messaging platforms.
- Work on Cards & Payments initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protocols.
- Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement, user story creation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively across business and technology teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ Years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the Banking industry.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Mandatory) .
- Solid knowledge of Cards & Payments , including: AS2805, ISO8583, 3D Secure (3DS), Tokenisation
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis and validation.
- Experience working with APIs, Kafka, MQ, and TCP/IP integrations .
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience in the Fraud & Scam domain.
- Knowledge of SAS Fraud Management.
- Experience with ETL processes.
- Exposure to PRM and migration programmes.
