Role Description

The Production Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area. This role is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, including planning production schedules, managing workflow, and coordinating resources to meet quality and output targets. The Production Manager will lead and support production teams, organize staffing, provide training, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Key tasks include monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting production issues, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. The role will also collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, sales,



and leadership to manage inventory levels, optimize costs, and deliver products on time to customers.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in production or manufacturing management, preferably in textiles, plastics, or a related industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, including the ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Solid knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and basic lean or continuous improvement principles.
- Proficiency in using production or ERP systems, basic data analysis, and reporting to track performance and drive decision-making.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety, quality assurance practices, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, logistics, and commercial teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a practical, hands-on approach to managing equipment and processes.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
- Experience in or interest in turf, landscaping, sports surfaces, or building products is an advantage.
