Part-Time Club Curator – Queensland Cricket

Queensland Cricket is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Club Curators to join our Curatorial team on a part-time, fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in producing quality playing surfaces, and wants to be part of the team that supports community cricket across Brisbane.

About the Role

As a Club Curator, you'll be part of Queensland Cricket's Curatorial team, helping deliver high-quality playing surfaces and facilities for our cricket community.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and maintaining turf wickets

Maintaining ovals and cricket facilities





Assisting with supervised chemical applications

Operating and maintaining turf maintenance equipment

Presenting grounds and facilities to a high standard

Working safely while contributing to a positive, team-focused environment

Contract: 12 August 2026 – 25 March 2027

Hours: 22.8 hours per week

Roster: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Employment: Part-time (fixed-term)

Positions are available at clubs located in:

Sandgate

Nundah

Ashgrove

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing exceptional playing surfaces.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Experience in turf wicket preparation and maintenance (desirable but not essential)

A qualification in Turf Management (highly desirable but not essential)

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

The ability to work flexible hours when required

A current Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team
