Elite Horticultural Pty Ltd provides high-quality grounds maintenance services across government, commercial and private sector clients throughout the City of Moreton Bay and the greater Brisbane region. We are currently seeking motivated, reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Technicians and Crew Leaders to join our growing team.

Casual positions are available, with the prospect to transition to permanent employment for the right candidates.

Above-award pay may be available based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Depot Location

Our depot is located in North Lakes. Crews depart from the depot each morning, and employees are required to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled start time.

- Monday to Friday
- Saturday work available when required or rostered
- Start times may vary depending on project locations

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance and softscape services across a variety of sites.

Duties include:

- Commercial lawn mowing using zero-turn mowers
- Brush cutting and edging
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weed control and herbicide application
- Mulching
- Planting
- General garden and grounds maintenance
- Softscape works
- Operating a range of commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently

Skills & Experience





The ideal candidate will have experience with:

- Commercial zero-turn mowers
- Brush cutters
- Hedge trimmers, chainsaws and other hand-held landscaping equipment
- Bobcat/skid steer operation (desirable)

You will also demonstrate:

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to follow instructions and complete work to a high standard
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves outdoor manual work across large sites

Desirable Qualifications & Licences

The following are not essential but will be highly regarded:

- Current Manual Driver Licence
- Construction White Card
- Certificate III in Horticulture (Parks & Gardens) or a relevant landscaping qualification
- Level 2 Traffic Management
- MR Licence
- Bobcat Ticket / Competency
- AC/DC Licence (Chemical Application)
- Chainsaw Ticket
- Any additional industry-related licences or qualifications
