About Us
Abbotsleigh Early Learning Centre is a child safe organisation where the safety and wellbeing of children is central to everything we do. All staff play a vital role in upholding our child safe culture and we have a zero tolerance of harm or abuse of children.
Located on the Junior School campus, our Centre caters to children aged 0-5 years and operates weekdays from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. Our educational program is informed by global research and inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our centre is purpose built for early education and is equipped with modern resources.
Abbotsleigh is a sensitive employer, and the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as the safety of children with a disability is of utmost importance.
Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Valid Working With Children Check from the Office of the Children's Guardian
- A strong understanding of child safety responsibilities
- Safe Food Handling Certificate would be advantageous

Abbotsleigh is a Child Protected Organisation committed to ensuring the safety, welfare, and well-being of all children and young people at the School and is dedicated to protecting them from abuse and harm. All children and young people who come to Abbotsleigh have a right to feel and be safe.
Successful applicants will be subject to employment screening processes with the Office of the Children's Guardian and will be required to provide a current Working with Children registration number.
