Water Truck Operator – South Side

About the Role

BLC Queensland is seeking a reliable and motivated Water Truck Operator to join our dynamic team across South East Queensland. This role will support the delivery and maintenance of commercial landscaping projects through watering and dust suppression activities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our site teams and contributing to the successful delivery of projects within our growing landscaping business.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operate water trucks safely across commercial landscaping and construction sites
- Carry out watering of landscaped areas and dust suppression activities
- Hand-water areas where truck access is limited
- Complete daily pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain clean and safe work sites, depot areas, and vehicles
- Assist with general landscape construction works when required
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures




- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience operating water trucks or working within construction or landscaping environments
- Minimum 2 years’ water truck operating experience preferred
- Candidates with less experience will be considered based on overall suitability
- HR Licence and Construction Induction White Card (Essential)
- RIMPO326E- Conduct Water Vehicle Operation (Desired)
- Valuable understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Physically capable of regularly entering and exiting the truck and undertaking manual tasks where required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive team-focused attitude
- Valid Australian work rights
