Toronto Private Hospital is seeking an experienced permanent part time Hospital In Charge, working weekends and after-hours. The role can be adaptable with option to job share (plus leave coverage), working afternoon shift Monday-Friday. The duties are flexible according to the requirements of the hospital e.g. taking on an occasional patient loadwhen occupancy is low.

Toronto Private Hospital is a part of the Aurora Health Care Group and is a 105 bed private hospital located on the western side of Lake Macquarie, 30 minutes from Gosford, Maitland and Newcastle. The hospital is a 105 bed facility, with inpatient rehabilitation, medical, palliative and mental health, plus outpatient services.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Strong leadership and decision making skills




- At least 5 years clinical experience Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- A sound knowledge of local networks, facilities and service providers
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

- Previous experience working after hours in charge of hospitalor management role.
- Motivated and energetic team player.
- Previous experience working with a broad patient case mix
