A permanent role within a vibrant, busy workshop that is a market leader in repairing industrial electric motors and gearboxes for some of Australia's biggest companies. For a trades experienced Workshop Manager, Foreman or workshop supervisor interested in leading a team of skilled electric motor winders torewind, repair, and refurbishment of a vast array of electric motors, gearboxes, compressors AC and DC.

A normal day:
As a Workshop Manager, you'll be the 2IC to the director, with a clear pathway to grow into a director role. You'll lead a dedicated team of 8 electric motor winders, overseeing all aspects of your workshop operations. Your days will be filled with variety, from hands‑on troubleshooting and technical guidance to customer interactions and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and manage a skilled team of electric winders, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Customer Service Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing estimates, feedback, and ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot, rewind, repair, and refurbish a wide range of electric motors, leveraging your deep understanding of both AC and DC motors.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the workshop runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
