Working alongside our Maintenance Supervisors, you'll provide day-to-day support to ensure our manufacturing plant operates safely and efficiently.

We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Trade Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to their technical skills in a modern injection molding facility, alongside experience maintenance personnel.

This is a physically active, hands-on position where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Maintenance Supervisors with daily maintenance activities
- Support preventative maintenance schedules and equipment breakdown repairs
- Machinery setup, tool changes and basic mechanical tasks
- Basic grinding, drilling, cutting and use of power tools
- Assist with workshop maintenance, factory improvements and general repairs
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and gantry cranes (where licensed and trained)
- Receive and move materials throughout the factory
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas to a high standard
- Complete maintenance records using our Preventative Maintenance software

About You:

You will have:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Good technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic knowledge and safe operation of power tools.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent housekeeping habits and pride in maintaining a clean workplace
- The ability to work well within a team
- Trade certificate (preferably Mechanical)
- Previous experience in trade role
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Full Australian working rights
- Physically fit and capable of manual work

Highly Regarded

- Experience in injection molding
- Experience using maintenance software
- Welding, grinding and/or fabrication experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
