As our Australian Civil Division continues its rapid growth, we're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition & People Partner to become the dedicated people specialist supporting this business.

This is a generalist role where you'll partner directly with operational leaders to build high-performing project teams while providing practical HR support across the employee lifecycle. You'll have genuine autonomy and play a key role in helping shape the culture of a growing civil construction business from the ground up.

About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you'll be the dedicated Talent Acquisition and People Partner for our Civil Division, supporting leaders across recruitment, workforce planning and day-to-day HR matters.

Working closely with the Management team, you'll ensure projects are mobilised with the right people at the right time while providing practical advice on employee relations, performance management, onboarding and workforce capability.

This role suits someone who enjoys working closely with operational leaders and thrives in a fast-paced project environment where no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

- Undertake end-to-end recruitment for professional,



technical and site-based civil construction roles across Queensland.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking and industry engagement.
- Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning, project mobilisation and recruitment timelines.
- Act as the trusted HR partner for the Civil Division, providing practical advice on employee relations, performance, policy and people matters.
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions and compliance for new employees joining site projects, while collaborating with Payroll, HSEQ and the broader People & Culture team.
- Provide market insights, coach hiring managers on recruitment best practice, and contribute to workforce planning, learning and development, and continuous improvement.

About You

You’ll already have established yourself within civil construction recruitment in Australia and understand the realities of recruiting in highly competitive project environments.

You’ll be confident building relationships with operational leaders, comfortable working autonomously and enjoy balancing recruitment with broader HR responsibilities.

We're Looking For Someone With

- Experience recruiting within civil construction,



infrastructure or a related industry in the Queensland market
- Strong knowledge of Modern Awards relevant to construction
- HR generalist experience with sound Fair Work and employment legislation understanding
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong organisational skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Queensland
- Experience working with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements or unionised environments will be highly regarded.
