Assistant Supermarket Manager - Maffra (Gippsland Area)

In this role you can expect to work through a diverse range of responsibilities that include developing the management team, assisting customers, ordering and replenishing shelves and displays, rostering, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment, KPI adherence, and team training and development.





The successful applicant will also need to have a good understanding of compliance areas such as HACCP and OH&S.; Key components of this role include wage budgets, sales budgets, and gross profit targets, as well as being able to work and mix with a diverse team of people within the supermarket and liquor environment as you take a leadership role in the supermarket team. Customer relations, cash office, register operation and operational procedures are important components of the position.

Suitable applicants should have:

- Experience in asupermarket setting.
- Proven ability in managing inventory and merchandise.
- Experience in managing a team.
- A sound knowledge of supermarket best practice.
- Retail passion and experience.
- A customer focused approach.
