We are a medium sized waste business operating throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area. Our Requirements

We want to support our continued growth by employing additional diesel mechanics to complement our existing team at our Dandenong south depot.

About the Role

As a Diesel Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Performing general maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment

- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues

- Keeping detailed service and repair records

- Attending to on-site breakdowns when necessary

- Assisting with other tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

- Qualified Diesel Mechanic with experience in the heavy vehicle industry

- Hands-on experience with truck and equipment maintenance

- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills

- Ability to work in a high-paced team environment

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

- HR Truck Licence

- Previous experience managing or maintaining a fleet

- Strong safety and compliance focus

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening
