Empire Marina Bobbin Head is seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking Boatyard General Hand to join our growing team.

Located in the heart of the spectacular Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park , Empire Marina Bobbin Head is an award-winning marina offering a truly unique workplace. About the Role

As a Boatyard General Hand , you'll play an integral role in delivering professional boatyard services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance and customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing vessels for antifouling and maintenance

- Applying antifoul coatings and Propspeed systems

- Replacing sacrificial anodes

- Washing, detailing and presenting vessels to a high standard

- Assisting with vessel lifting, launching and hardstand operations

- General boatyard maintenance and housekeeping

- Waste management and environmental compliance

- Assisting with fuel service operations (training provided)

- Working safely around travel lifts, forklifts and other heavy equipment

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment





- Delivering outstanding customer service to boat owners and contractors

- Following Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety procedures

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Enjoys working outdoors in a physically active role

- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship

- Has excellent attention to detail

- Works well as part of a team

- Communicates professionally with customers and colleagues

- Is committed to workplace health and safety

- Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn

- Holds a current Australian driver's licence

Marine industry experience is highly regarded but not essential. We place just as much value on attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn as we do on previous experience. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
