We are looking for a Legal Secretary to provide dedicated support to one of the Directors of our firm. Our firm operates from two offices located in Gympie and Noosa, providing quality legal services on the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions.
Based in our Noosa office, this role is suited to a motivated individual who is capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, and taking initiative in a busy legal setting.
About the Role
As the Director's Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support while ensuring matters progress efficiently and professionally. You will have direct client contact and work predominately in the area of Property and Wills and Estates.
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous secretarial or administrative experience – legal experience would be a bonus
- Be able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Present professionally and maintain strict confidentiality
- Be a JP or Commissioner for Declarations, or be willing and eligible to become one
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
