About the Role

The People and Culture Manager is a remarkable opportunity for high potential professional, looking to apply their passion in a rapidly growing and creative retailer, make a mark, succeed and grow one's career with the business. You will be responsible for leading and delivering all aspects of the People & Culture function across both corporate and retail operations. Partnering closely with senior leaders, the role provides strategic and operational HR support to ensure people practices align with business priorities, strengthen organisational capability, and drive business performance. This role is ideally a Full time career opportunity, but Part time (four days per week) may be considered for the right person.

Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, operational managers and team members on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment & selection, performance management and development, remuneration and benefits and work health and safety.

Support the CEO and leadership team as a custodian of the businesses purpose and values, ensuring people practices, communications and relationships promote our desired culture and behaviours and enhance team member engagement

Partner with hiring managers to support end-to-end recruitment from role review to sourcing, screening , selection and onboarding of new team members

Generate employment contracts and administer required onboarding documentation and time and attendance system set-up for new team members





Act as a liaison between the business and the payroll function to ensure the required information is provided for timely and accurate payroll processing, including onboarding, offboarding and role changes

Deliver and advise on performance development across the team, encouraging leaders to set transparent expectations, provide regular feedback sessions and support the career development of talent to drive retention and business performance

Lead the remuneration, incentives and other benefits program to ensure internal equity and effectively attract and retain talent within budget constraints, including facilitating the annual remuneration review

Provide advice and support for managing underperformance and investigating misconduct, ensuring procedural fairness and confidentiality are maintained

Contribute to regular reporting requirements on people & culture metrics and other reporting in line with required business timeframes

Lead the annual engagement survey and deliver against the engagement plan.

Complete required administrative tasks (e.g. wage accruals, quantifying incentive plan outcomes) in line with business requirements and agreed timeframes

Contribute to the development and implementation of people & culture initiatives and people-related aspects of business projects that align with achieving the business strategy and performance objectives

Maintaining accurate people & culture knowledge base information and team member files

Keep up to date on the workplace legislative framework, relevant Awards, trends and contemporary people practices and share advice and knowledge with the team





Work within the Parent Company policy framework and business policies to provide advice on company policies and compliance issues, developing policies/guidelines as required

With the support of the Group work health & safety framework, accountability for promoting a healthy and safe workplace across all locations including supporting risk assessment/control, encouraging hazard identification and incident reporting, incident management, and injury management/return to work

About You
