The Residential Rehabilitation & Recovery Services provides step up and step down intervention in addition to medium term residential support in a community setting. Employees work collaboratively with mental health services to provide individualised psychosocial and skills based support and therapeutic group activities.
What we are looking for in an employee:
- Knowledge and experience in supporting people who have severe and persistent mental ill health;
- Knowledge and skills in providing effective psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery including intake, non-clinical assessment, recovery planning, referral, and effective exit planning;
- High level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to conduct non-clinical assessments;
- A minimum qualification of a Diploma of Community Services;
- Assist clients with Medication accreditation (training can be provided).

The successful applicant will be required to:
- Provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check if you are applying for the 1st time or have renewed your registration since 1 st February 2021
- Present a National Police Check - Unsupervised with children (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record);
- Provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
- Undertake a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical
- Provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence
On commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
