Support the visitor experience at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre by providing excellent customer service in the gallery's café. Join our agile visitor services team at the City of Darebin's public art gallery where you will prepare snacks and drinks in the Homestead café, greet customers, and provide information about what's on at the Homestead.

As part of our organisational redesign, we're introducing new roles that support Darebin's future focus and priorities.

About the role:

This role is based in the café at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, and occasionally provides customer service support at the gallery reception and at special events.

You will:

- Safely prepare and serve snacks and drinks in the Homestead Café
- Take customer payments and demonstrate excellent customer service
- Support regular sock-taking in the Cafe kitchen
- Provide occasional front of house support in the Gallery reception area
- Assist with functions and events including set up and pack down

About you:

- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service
- Experience in café skills including food preparation and barista service
- Interest in visual arts, craft, art galleries and/or museums sector
- RSA
