About the role

The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing a designated section of the Pastry Kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and confectionery items that align with Four Seasons standards. This role supports the Pastry Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen,



maintaining consistency, creativity, and excellence while delivering exceptional culinary experiences for guests. This role is part of the Culinary Department, reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef.

What you will do

- Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and other bakery items to the highest quality standards.

- Manage and oversee a designated pastry section, ensuring efficient preparation, production, and service.

- Maintain consistency in product quality, presentation, and portion control in line with established recipes and standards.

- Assist with menu development, seasonal offerings, and creative dessert concepts.

- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.

- Support inventory management, stock rotation, ordering, and minimisation of food waste.

- Collaborate with the wider culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across all hotel outlets and events.

What you will bring

- A passion for pastry arts and creating memorable culinary experiences.

- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar pastry kitchen role within a luxury hotel, resort, restaurant, or bakery.

- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, chocolate work, and dessert presentation.

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency.

- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team.

- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles, and kitchen hygiene standards.

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
