Job Description

Role Purpose

The Dev/Tech (Principal) Lead owns the end‑to‑endtechnical architecture and engineering standards for business‑criticaldigital platforms. This role is a hands‑on technical leadership position ,not a people‑only lead, responsible for ensuring solutions are secure,scalable, cloud‑native, and aligned with business objectives .

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Architectural Leadership

- Drive architecture and design decisions aligned with business outcomes.

- Defineand enforce reusable design patterns and frameworks .

- Apply Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) principles.

- Ensure security by design , scalability, and resilience.

- Leadand review feature‑level technical designs .

- Driveadoption of up-to-date engineering frameworks and practices .

- Leadcomplex internal and external system integrations.

- Remainhands‑on where needed across backend, frontend, cloud, and CI/CD.

Cloud, DevOps & Automation

- Architectand optimize multi‑cloud solutions (AWS & Azure) .





- Defineand govern CI/CD standards and reusable pipelines in GitLab.

- Mentorteams on IaC best practices using Terraform .

- Establishrelease management governance.

Observability, Performance & Cost

- Establish observability frameworks (logging, monitoring, alerting).

- Monitorperformance, reliability, and availability using cloud‑nativemonitoring services .

- Drive cost optimization , capacity monitoring, and performance tuning.

- Automateoperational and service management tasks.

Quality, Testing & FrontendLeadership

- Definetesting strategies across unit, integration, and E2E testing.

- Ensuretesting is embedded in CI/CD.

- Overseeadvanced frontend practices including React optimization and ModuleFederation .

- Enforceaccessibility and quality standards.

Data & Platform Design

- Definedata strategies:

- Relationalvs NoSQL selection.

- Shardingand partitioning for NoSQL where applicable.

- Ensure HA/DR , scalability, and resilience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Provenexperience as a Technical Lead / Principal Engineer in cloud‑nativeplatforms.

- .NET

- ReactJS

- Terraform

- StrongDevOps mindset with hands‑on CI/CD experience.

- Abilityto mentor Senior and Junior engineers at a technical level.

- Strongunderstanding of service management, automation, and operations .

- Mustperform Dev Lead or Tech Lead duties , not just coordination.

- Mustbe capable of delivering architecture and designs without client FTEdependency .

- Accountablefor solution quality, performance, cost, and operational readiness.

Actsas the technical authority for the delivery.
