Lead an established electrical fire services team and take ownership of service delivery, client relationships and operational performance across a large maintenance portfolio. Manage technicians, repairs, breakdowns, compliance and P&L; while supporting the continued growth of a leading fire protection contractor. Suitable for candidates with a strong electrical background who have progressed through the tools into leadership.

About Our Client

Atom Resources is partnering with a leading fire protection contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Service Manager.

Our client employs more than 245 staff across NSW and Queensland and has built a strong reputation across fire protection, service & maintenance, commercial construction, industrial projects and data centres.

The service division manages over 625 active maintenance contracts and generates approximately $5M-$7M annually, supporting some of Australia's leading builders, commercial property owners and asset managers.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Service Division, this is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all electrical service operations, including fire detection systems, EWIS, emergency lighting, repairs, breakdowns and client service delivery.

This position combines people leadership, operational management and commercial accountability, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire industry professional looking to step into a senior management position.

Duties





- Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10-12 electricians and service technicians
- Oversee electrical service, maintenance, repairs and breakdown response works
- Manage key client and stakeholder relationships
- Review and prioritise defect rectification and urgent repair works
- Support quoting, scheduling and operational planning activities
- Drive service quality, compliance and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Manage divisional performance and P&L; responsibilities
- Monitor team productivity, workflow and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and grow existing client accounts

Skills & Experience

- Must have Electrical trade background with hands-on industry experience
- Fire protection, fire maintenance or fire services experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of fire detection systems, EWIS and emergency lighting
- Experience managing technicians and field service teams
- Commercial awareness with P&L; exposure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance technical, operational and commercial responsibilities
- Proficient in using field service software (Uptick) and Microsoft Office
