TOBCO is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing team.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the estimating function and delivering accurate and competitive tenders.

About the role:

- Lead and mentor junior estimators and oversee estimating resources.
- Manage tenders for new projects and subcontractor variations.
- Complete quantity take-offs and obtain pricing for labour, materials and equipment.
- Review project scopes, documentation and commercial terms.
- Prepare accurate estimates using first-principles estimating and industry benchmarks.
- Identify project risks and ensure pricing is commercially sound.
- Prepare and review tender non-priced documentation, methodologies, programs and submission requirements.
- Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
- Work closely with Directors, Project Managers,



Engineers and the delivery team.
- Support successful tender handovers and ongoing project delivery.

About you:

- Previous experience in HV Substations, Solar/BESS Renewables, Industrial Electrical Projects is desirable.
- Strong understanding of estimating and quantity surveying principles.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project risks.
- Solid communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Engineering, Construction Management or related qualification preferred but not essential.
