Aboutthe role

The Property & Ratingdepartment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate learner who is anoutstanding team player and looking to work with the Property & Revenue teamto join us in the role Valuation & Rating Administration Officer on a 6-monthsecondment.

The primary objectives of theposition are to deliver high levels of customer service and be effective andefficient in its operations, support Council’s Property Revenue functions bymaintaining accurate property and rating records, processing property changes,valuations, and addressing while contributing to efficient, high-qualityservice delivery and assistance to the rating team where applicable.



Theposition will require collaboration to enhance systems, support ratepayers, andensure reliable revenue outcomes, and to ensure compliance with the relevantActs, policies, procedures, practices, and systems as they relate to theProperty Revenue functions.

Aboutyou

To be successful in this role,you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:

Excellent organisational skills andability to work as an effective team member are essential as well as being ableto manage and prioritise workload. Must be a skilled communicator who isexperienced in dealing with internal stakeholders. Knowledge of the Property& Rating functions and legislations, street addressing experience as wellas proficiency in the operation of relevant systems (Property & Revenue)and Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced excel skills is essential.

You may be required to undertake practical testing,work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacityassessment (physical) or aptitude testing.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce aclear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a nationalpolice check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’),subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
