Our Community Mental Health Team is a passionate, multidisciplinary group dedicated to delivering meaningful, recovery-focused care. We support individuals and families across the Lake Macquarie region, working collaboratively to promote well-being, resilience, and independence. About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing person-centred, trauma-informed care within the community. Working alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and peer workers, you will contribute to holistic care that empowers individuals in their recovery journey. This is an opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and support consumers through some of the most important moments in their recovery - while enjoying the consistency and work-life balance of a Monday to Friday position.

We are currently seeking full time, part time and casual Registered Nurses, offering flexibility to suit your personal and professional commitments.

Responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments
- Developing and implementing recovery-oriented care plans




- Providing therapeutic support to consumers and their families
- Participating in outreach services and care coordination
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment

You’ll be supported through regular clinical supervision, ongoing professional development, and a team culture that values growth and excellence in care.

About You

You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong interest in mental health and a commitment to making a positive impact.

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Experience or a genuine interest in mental health nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, adaptable, and empathetic approach
