Your Nursing Care is a nurse-owned healthcare organisation committed to delivering exceptional community nursing, clinical support services and education. As our Training Centre continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Trainer & Assessor to join our growing team. This is for Queensland and Victoria.

About the Role

With a base at our Hervey Bay Training Centre, you will deliver and assess nationally recognised First Aid and CPR courses across Queensland and Victoria.

Training may be delivered at our Training Centre, client workplaces, schools, childcare services and community organisations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys educating others, building confidence in learners and delivering engaging, practical training. Outside of their usual roles or looking for a career change!

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver and assess nationally recognised First Aid and CPR courses.
- Facilitate engaging, practical and compliant training sessions.
- Assess participant competency in accordance with the partnered RTO requirements.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and training documentation.
- Assist with the ongoing development of training resources and educational programs.
- Provide occasional clinical support within Your Nursing Care's community nursing services.
- Travel to training locations when required.
- Maintain compliance with ASQA, RTO and organisational requirements.

About You





You are passionate about education and enjoy helping others develop practical skills and confidence. You are an excellent communicator who can adapt your teaching style to suit a wide range of learners.

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or registration as a Paramedic.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
- Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable

- Experience delivering First Aid and CPR training.
- Community nursing, emergency or acute care experience.
- Experience within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
- Experience delivering education to workplaces, schools or community organisations.
