Kenthurst Nursery is an established family-owned wholesale nursery with more than 40 years of industry experience.

Operating across three sites and more than 40 acres in Kenthurst and Glenorie, we propagate and supply a broad range of quality trees, shrubs, groundcovers, grasses and hedging plants to landscapers, landscape architects, garden centres and property developers throughout the Sydney region.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Consultant to join our sales team at our Kenthurst office.

This is a permanent full-time, Monday-to-Friday position. The preferred commencement date will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email

Prepare accurate quotations, sales orders and invoices

Recommend suitable plant varieties and available alternatives

Manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to delivery

Maintain accurate customer, quotation and sales order information

Work closely with the production and dispatch teams to confirm stock availability, order requirements and delivery arrangements





Follow up quotations and outstanding sales opportunities

Contribute to individual and team sales targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade and commercial customers

What We Are Looking For

Experience in internal sales, trade sales or customer service

Experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders

Strong attention to detail when preparing quotations, processing orders and maintaining customer information

Robust written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple customer orders, priorities and deadlines

Confidence using, or learning, inventory, customer and sales order management systems

Ability to work effectively with sales, production and dispatch teams

Highly Regarded

Nursery, horticulture or landscaping industry experience

Plant identification and plant selection knowledge

Experience selling to trade or commercial customers

What We Offer

Salary of $65,000–$75,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and horticultural knowledge
