Rula Health is seeking a compassionate and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing high-quality, client-centered care in a modern, tech-enabled environment. As part of Rula Health, you will benefit from the innovative technology and digital-first mindset of our parent organization, Rula Technologies, which specializes in advanced tech solutions that enhance digital interfaces and user experiences. This integration of healthcare and technology allows you to focus on what you do best—delivering excellent clinical care—while leveraging intuitive tools that streamline documentation, scheduling, and client engagement.
In this role, you will provide outpatient mental health services to a diverse panel of clients across a range of diagnoses and life stages. You will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, formulate accurate DSM-5/ICD-10 diagnoses, and develop collaborative, person-centered treatment plans. Using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, you will deliver individual, couple, and group therapy through a hybrid model that includes both in-person sessions and secure telehealth visits. You will regularly monitor progress, update treatment plans, and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes and client feedback.
You will be responsible for maintaining thorough, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within our Electronic Health Record, including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Our digital tools are designed to minimize administrative burden,
allowing you to devote more of your time and energy to therapeutic work. You will also provide crisis intervention when needed, including risk assessment, safety planning, and coordination of higher levels of care, always adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Collaboration is central to the culture at Rula Health. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team—psychiatrists, primary care providers, care coordinators, and other behavioral health clinicians—to deliver integrated, whole-person care. You will participate in case consultations, case reviews, and clinical huddles, sharing insights and developing strategies to support clients with complex needs. Rula’s inclusive and dynamic work environment encourages open communication, shared problem-solving, and mutual respect among colleagues.
Rula embraces creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have access to ongoing professional development, clinical consultation, and opportunities to stay current with emerging best practices and tech-enabled care models. You will be encouraged to bring forward recent ideas for improving client engagement, refining workflows,
and leveraging our digital platforms to increase access and quality of care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values both high-quality, ethical practice and the thoughtful use of technology in service of better outcomes.
The ideal candidate is an independently licensed clinician (such as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent) with experience in outpatient therapy, community mental health, or integrated care settings. You should be comfortable working with a varied caseload, confident in risk assessment and crisis management, and committed to culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice. Strong clinical judgment, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team are essential. Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms is highly desirable, as is an interest in how technology can improve the client and clinician experience.
Rula Health offers a competitive compensation package and a comprehensive suite of benefits, which may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and performance-based bonus opportunities. Our hybrid work environment supports a healthy work-life balance, blending the connection of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote care delivery. If you are a mission-driven Licensed Mental Health Therapist who wants to make a meaningful impact while working in an innovative, supportive, and growth-oriented setting, we invite you to join Rula Health and help shape the future of tech-enabled mental healthcare.
