- Emergency Department (ED) in ensuring a safe and secure environment within the ED.

Act as a member of the Code Black Team in ED and conduct internal hospital security functions as directed. Provide manual handling assistance with patient care requirements when and as directed. The Team

The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Emergency Department is the primary provider of emergency care for Northern Tasmania, delivering comprehensive 24-hour services for patients presenting with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-tending emergencies. As part of Hospitals North, the department works collaboratively with Ambulance Tasmania, inpatient teams and community-based services to ensure safe, efficient and patient-focused care.

The Role Support the delivery of a protected and secure Emergency Department by assisting the multidisciplinary care team, participating in security responses (including Code Black), and providing manual handling support to meet patient care needs. You will need:

- and part-time positions available working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible
