Peterson House is the Hunter Valley's leading sparkling wine specialist and one of the region's most iconic visitor destinations. Renowned for exceptional hospitality, premium sparkling wines, and unforgettable celebrations, we're proud to host weddings and special events in one of Australia's most picturesque wine regions.
Our award-winning restaurant operates seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, while our evenings are dedicated to creating memorable wedding receptions, corporate events and private functions.
With an exciting calendar of weddings and events ahead, we're looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants to join our close-knit Weddings & Functions team.
About the Role
Working primarily afternoon and evening shifts, you'll play an important part in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly and professional food and beverage service
- Assisting with bar service (RSA required)
- Setting up and packing down event spaces
- Clearing tables and maintaining presentation throughout events
- Assisting with general event operations to ensure functions run smoothly
- Completing manual handling tasks, including moving tables,
chairs and beverage stock
About You
We're looking for people who are reliable, energetic and genuinely enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests.
To be successful, you'll have:
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A current RSA certificate
- An understanding of Workplace Health & Safety practices
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- The ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- A willingness to work as part of a supportive team
- Hospitality experience is welcomed but not essential. We're happy to train the right people!
