Superior Wood - Mobile Plant Operators (Forklifts & Front End Loaders)

Work at a large timber mill operating mobile plant to assist with production. Gain permanent employment on an ongoing basis in a friendly team.

About the Position

We are seeking candidates with a can‑do attitude and strong work ethic to join our Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations. You will operate mobile plant to assist in our production processes of high-quality timber products. Positions are available Monday to Thursday afternoons starting at 2 pm.

- Forklift Operator based at Melawondi & Imbil.
- Front End Loader Operator (Log Grab) based at Imbil.

Key Responsibilities

- The use of a forklift (LF license required) or front‑end loader (includes log grab) to move, load and unload product.
- Daily machinery and equipment pre‑start inspections.
- Sorting and strapping loads.
- General labouring duties including ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris on an ongoing basis.
- Inventory management and database entry.
- Having a constant focus on health & safety across all areas of the site.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating a forklift or front‑end loader is essential.
- A high‑risk forklift licence is essential for the forklift operator position.
- Experience using a log grab is advantageous for the loader operator position.
- A positive attitude at work, being reliable and punctual.
- A strong commitment to safety is essential.




- Knowledge of the timber industry is favourable.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard.
