Hamilton Psychology Clinic
Hamilton
Hamilton Psychology Clinic is looking to welcome an experienced Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Registrar to our established private practice in Hamilton, Brisbane.
We are currently seeking an additional clinician, as our existing team has limited capacity to accept new referrals. This means there is a genuine opportunity to build a caseload with the support of an established clinic and a consistent flow of new client enquiries.
The role is offered on an independent contractor basis and would suit a psychologist seeking the autonomy of private practice, without having to manage the administrative and operational demands alone.
Clinicians may work as little as one day per week or up to four days, depending on their availability and preferences.
Genuine flexibility and autonomy
At Hamilton Psychology Clinic, flexibility is more than simply choosing a preferred workday. Our clinicians are free to:
- Choose their own days and working hours
- Work during the day, early mornings, evenings or weekends
- Set their own fees
- Control their own calendars, availability and time away
- Decide which referrals they accept
- Choose the client groups and presentations they work with
- Offer in-person, telehealth or hybrid appointments
- Structure their workload around their professional interests and personal commitments
- Make their own independent clinical decisions
Our administrative team manages the practical work around each clinician’s calendar, including bookings, billing, client communication and cancellations, while clinicians retain control over how and when they practise.
About Hamilton Psychology Clinic
Hamilton Psychology Clinic is a warm, well-established and professionally managed private practice located in the heart of Hamilton, Brisbane. Our team currently includes 13 clinicians with a broad range of experience and clinical interests. Although clinicians practise independently, we place a strong emphasis on creating an environment where people feel connected, supported and part of a wider professional community.
We organise regular peer supervision and professional workshops, as well as clinic gatherings throughout the year. These provide opportunities to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas and maintain a sense of community within private practice.
Our consulting rooms are calm, comfortable and beautifully presented, providing a professional and welcoming environment for both clinicians and clients.
The clinic is close to cafés, public transport and local amenities. Parking is available nearby, and the clinic also offers disability access and a dedicated lunch room for clinicians and staff.
Administrative support
Our experienced administrative team is on site from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and provides comprehensive support to clinicians and clients. Clinicians are also welcome to work outside these hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
