IKAD Engineering is a proud Australian-owned engineering company servicing the marine, mining, mineral processing, and oil & gas industries. We are currently seeking experienced Trades Assistants to join our skilled team for ongoing work in Rozelle, NSW.

This is a hands‑on role suited to reliable, safety‑focused workers who can adapt to changing environments and work effectively within a high-performing team.

The Role

- Assist trades personnel with marine and workshop tasks
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
- Follow verbal instructions and site procedures
- Complete required paperwork and safety documentation
- Adhere to all workshop and site safety requirements

Required

- Confined Space Entry
- White Card
- Australian Citizenship (required for Defence clearance eligibility)
- Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months)




- Australian Driver’s Licence
- Working Safely at Heights
- EWP Ticket
- Fire Sentry Ticket
- Previous Marine Industry Experience

Desirable

- EWP Ticket

- Rigging/Dogging Ticket
- Previous Marine Industry Experience
- Previous Trades Assistant Experience
