About You

We are looking for anOperations Project Manager based in Newcastle, NSW.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager (ACT & Southern NSW), this role is critical in delivering Otis projects safely, on time, and within budget.

You will lead the end-to-end execution of Recent Equipment (NE), Modernisation (Mod) and Service Maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with Otis’ Sales Installation Process (SIP) while collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Permanent, full-time position

Based in Newcastle (5 days office based or on-site)

Competitive salary package – Base pay plus Super, car allowance and project incentive.

Your key responsibilities will include

Lead the delivery of NE, Modernisation and Service projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and provide regular updates through project reviews

Manage project planning, resourcing, and performance of installation teams

Ensure all project documentation (reports, contracts, site diaries, safety records, and timesheets) is accurate and submitted on time

Collaborate effectively with Sales, Contract Management, field teams, builders, consultants, and other stakeholders

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and regulatory bodies

Drive compliance with Otis processes, particularly the Sales Installation Process (SIP)

Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, support, and clear performance expectations

Champion safety across all projects in partnership with the NSW/ACT Safety Manager, including audits, toolbox talks, and pre-start activities

What you will need to be successful

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, or a related discipline

Mechanical or Electrical trade background (Preferred)

3–5 years’ experience in a project management or supervisory role within the lift/elevator industry

Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously





Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Solutions-focused with sound problem-solving capability

Highly organised, safety-focused, and able to work both autonomously and within a team

Demonstrates a strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement
