Moore Australia is a network of independent firms that provide audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory services to a wide range of clients.
We offer personalised services and deep local market knowledge, supported by a leading national and international network which enables us to support a wide range of clients from ASX-listed companies through to local private businesses. Our global connections provide extensive learning and professional development opportunities which support accelerated career growth and success for our team members.
Our SA / NT Deals & Advisory team brings together corporate finance, transaction services, deals tax advisory, corporate tax, and transfer pricing into a single, integrated practice. Instead of operating as separate service lines, we work side by side on acquisitions, divestments, restructures, international expansions, capital raisings, and complex business transformations. This creates a dynamic, commercial environment where tax professionals are involved in strategic decision-making, negotiations, and value creation, not just technical compliance.
The result is a career experience that is very different from a traditional tax role. One week you might be identifying tax risks in an acquisition, modelling transaction structures with corporate finance specialists, and advising on purchase price mechanisms. The next, you could be working on international tax and transfer pricing matters, helping a growing private group expand offshore, or providing strategic tax advice to a large corporate undertaking a significant business transformation.
Our clients range from ASX-listed companies and multinational groups to some of the most successful privately owned businesses in the market. They come to us not only for technical expertise, but for practical, commercially focused advice that helps them make better business decisions.
For ambitious tax professionals, this means exposure to a broader range of projects, closer collaboration with senior advisers across multiple disciplines, and the opportunity to develop skills that extend well beyond traditional tax compliance. You'll gain an understanding of how transactions are structured, how businesses create value, how deals are negotiated, and how tax considerations influence strategic decisions.
This is a team for people who enjoy variety, want to work on complex and high-profile projects,
and are excited by the idea of combining technical tax expertise with commercial advisory work. We don't see tax as a standalone service line. We see it as a critical part of helping businesses grow, evolve and succeed.

About you The successful candidate will be both a tertiary-qualified and CA, CPA, or CTA qualified accountant, with an existing background in Deal Advisory Tax, Corporate Tax, or Business Services. You will have strong technical knowledge across Australian taxation, including income tax, capital gains tax, GST and FBT, together with a sound understanding of accounting standards and tax effect accounting.
