Solicitor / Associate – General Liability Insurance Litigation

1st to 4th Year PAE

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join a leading General Liability practice. Working closely with an experienced Partner and a collaborative team of senior lawyers, you will gain exposure to a broad range of complex and interesting matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build deep expertise in insurance litigation while working in a high-performing yet down-to-earth environment.

The Work

You will act for insurers, underwriters, brokers, and corporate clients across a range of matters, including:

- Public liability claims
- Product liability and defective product matters
- Property damage claims
- Indemnity disputes and policy coverage advice
- Recovery actions
- Mediations and court proceedings

The team is known for its technical strength and hands-on training, offering early responsibility and client exposure.

About You

You will bring

- 1–4 years’ PAE in general liability, insurance litigation, or closely related practice areas
- A solid understanding of key insurance and liability principles
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and concise drafting ability
- The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities




- A genuine interest in client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes

The Team You’ll be joining a well-established Brisbane-based general liability group with deep expertise across a high volume of claims, disputes, and litigation. The broader practice is collaborative, technically strong, and committed to mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
