About Us:Olsen Avenue Community Children's Centre is a long-established, community-based, not-for-profit early learning service committed to providing high-quality education and care for children aged 0–5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children, families and educators are valued and respected.We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our qualified team.
About the Role:As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs for pre-primary children in both indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Support children's development across language, literacy, numeracy, cognitive, physical, emotional and social domains.
- Promote learning through storytelling, music, play-based experiences, discussions, role play and other educational activities.
- Observe, assess and document children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Identify developmental, health or wellbeing concerns and implement appropriate support strategies in collaboration with families and professionals.
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families regarding children's learning and progress.
- Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to community engagement and family participation programs.
- Mentor and supervise student teachers undertaking professional placements.
- Work collaboratively with educators to maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
Essential RequirementsApplicants must have:
- An ACECQA-approved Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management qualifications (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Current Child Protection training.
- A copy of completed Child Safe Mandatory Training must be provided with your application.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a professional team and build strong relationships with children and families.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
