Senior Communications and Engagement Adviser, Policy & Communications Unit

The Senior Communications and Engagement Adviser is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality, strategic communications plans and activities to support the office of the National Health Practitioner Ombudsman's (NHPO's) statutory purpose and objectives. Reporting to the Policy and Communications Unit Manager, the role will lead the delivery of the office's public communications in a sensitive integrity environment where accuracy, impartiality and sound judgement are critical.

About you:

- A relevant tertiary qualification is required (such as media and communications, public relations, journalism or a related field).
- Leading the delivery of communications in a statutory authority, regulatory, integrity or similarly complex environment will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in using and maintaining a Drupal 11 website, moderating, scheduling and publishing content on Facebook and LinkedIn, and using design programs such as Adobe Express would be advantageous.
