About the role

Our two-hatted, fine-dining restaurant is looking for experienced section waiters and passionate wine professionals to join our dedicated team. Whether you are an accomplished waiter looking to elevate your craft or an emerging sommelier ready to deepen your wine knowledge, this role offers the opportunity to grow within one of the Peninsula’s most respected venues. We are preparing for our upcoming busy season and welcome applications for full‑time, part‑time, and casual opportunities, including short‑term commitments over summer.

About you

You will be warm and engaging with guests, have proven experience in managing a section, and a keen eye for maintaining the highest service standards. A passion for food, wine, and hospitality is essential, along with the ambition to build a long-term career in the industry. Fine dining experience is favourable, however training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional service with warmth, polish, and professionalism

Provide detailed information about all aspects of our menu and restaurant, as well as our wines and winery

Deliver food, beverage, and customer service at a high end, qualified level





Take part in regular service, food, wine, and bar trainings through daily briefings, fortnightly tastings, and team outings.

Support team operations and uphold service standards across the business

Represent the Ten Minutes by Tractor brand with passion and integrity

Work in a stunning vineyard location, 10 minutes to the beach

Award rates Level 4–5, depending on experience and skillset

What We’re Looking For

Strong F&B; knowledge and genuine interest and passion in hospitality and wine (training provided)

A natural communicator with a calm, professional demeanour

Availability across a rotating roster Wednesday-Sunday, with Friday-Sunday essential

RSA required; WSET Level 2 or above highly regarded

Knowledge of, or passion for, the Mornington Peninsula wine region is a plus

Reliable transport is essential, as the venue is not accessible by public transport
