We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at Ulivo Italian Restaurant in Leppington, NSW. This part-time role is an exciting chance to showcase your culinary skills and passion for Italian cuisine. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes and pizzas that delight our customers and uphold the reputation of our family-owned restaurant.
What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, including pastas, risottos, and meat and seafood specialties
- Craft delicious, artisanal pizzas using fresh ingredients and authentic techniques
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Chef in pasta cooking and kitchen operations. Chef, ideally in an Italian or Mediterranean restaurant
- Passion for Italian cuisine and a deep understanding of traditional cooking methods and flavours
- Excellent knife skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Food safety and hygiene certification
