Role Description The Healthcare Subject Matter Expert / Business Analyst is a full time, on-site role based in Australia. This role involves analyzing healthcare business processes, gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into clear functional specifications for technical teams. The individual will collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA professionals to design and refine healthcare technology solutions, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

Daily responsibilities include conducting market and domain research, creating process maps and user stories, supporting configuration and implementation activities, and participating in testing and validation of solutions.



The role also requires preparing documentation, training materials, and reports that support successful adoption and ongoing improvement of healthcare systems.

Qualifications

Strong healthcare domain knowledge, including clinical workflows, patient journeys, and understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.

Business analysis skills such as requirements gathering, process mapping, user story creation, and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA specialists, product management, and operational stakeholders.

Ability to conduct structured research, analyze data, and provide clear recommendations to guide solution design and business decisions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex healthcare and technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Proficiency with common business analysis and project tools (e.g., flowcharting tools, requirements management systems, productivity suites).

Prior experience with healthcare IT, EHR/EMR systems, or Salesforce and other CRM/enterprise platforms is highly beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, information systems, business, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in business analysis or healthcare informatics are an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work on-site with clients and internal teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project needs.
