Joinery Sales Contractor – Showroom Based

NT Building Group Australia is a joinery and interiors company delivering custom residential and large-scale joinery solutions. With a dedicated showroom, robust marketing pipeline, and in-house production capability, we are expanding and looking for a results-driven Joinery Sales Contractor.

This role is not about hours worked or effort shown. It is about outcomes. If you convert clients and close deals, you will earn well. If you don't, this role will not suit you.

The role

- Conduct client consultations in our dedicated showroom
- Qualify clients and understand scope, budget, and expectations
- Prepare and issue ball-park figure quotes using our fast quoting system
- Work with the design and estimating team for detailed or final pricing when required
- Convert enquiries into signed contracts and deposits
- Manage both company-provided leads and self-generated opportunities
- Build relationships with homeowners, builders, and developers

Your responsibility covers the sales process from initial client consultation through to delivery of the final joinery product to the client, including client communication and coordination as required. Manufacturing, installation, and project delivery execution are managed by the company.

Project types & earning potential

- Custom residential joinery projects ($30k–$150k+)
- Whole-house and multi-room joinery packages
- Development projects including townhouses, apartments, and high-rise buildings
- Million-dollar-plus joinery contracts for experienced operators





There is no earning cap. The more you sell — and the bigger the projects — the more you earn.

Earnings – performance driven

- Independent contractor arrangement
- Commission-only remuneration
- 7 percent commission on total contract value (ex GST), subject to margin requirements
- Commission payable once contracts are signed and deposits received
- Clear pathway to permanent employment for consistent high performers

We provide the showroom, systems, pricing tools, and leads. You deliver the results.

About you

- Proven sales experience in joinery, cabinetry, kitchens, interiors, or construction
- Comfortable discussing pricing and budgets early in the sales process
- Confident closer with strong negotiation skills
- Commercially minded and margin aware
- Motivated by performance and uncapped earnings
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience required
- Australian work rights required for this contractor position

Experience with quoting or selling high-value projects is highly regarded.
