Community Kinders Plus Inc. is an early years management organisation that is responsible for the enrolments and service delivery at 28 kindergartens across three councils. We are a not‑for‑profit organisation that prides itself on providing high quality early education.

Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators and Teachers to join our agile team in the education and training sector. This temporary role offers flexible working hours, allowing you to contribute to the development and learning of children in a supportive environment. Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering a positive educational experience and enhancing student engagement.

Responsibilities

- Be available for casual shifts with little or short notice.
- Support the development of students' academic and social skills.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment.




- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Participate in career development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications

- A relevant qualification in education or teaching (e.g., Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

- VIT Registration
- WWCC
- First Aid

Additional Requirements

- Current certificate for Protecting Children Mandatory Reporting and other obligations.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA).
