As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Expressions of InterestfromMechanical Leading Handsinterestedin expanding their experience across the bulk storage, fuels,refiningand terminal infrastructure sectors. This is an prospect to become part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets.

You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capitalprojectsand operational support activities.You'llwork alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through to procurement,constructionand commissioning.

KeyResponsibilities

Lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance and construction crews across fuel terminals,



bulk storagefacilitiesand associated infrastructure assets.

Perform hands‑on mechanical work while providing day-to-day supervision, technical guidance and mentoring to tradespeople and contractors on site.

Allocate resources,monitorworkprogressand ensure mechanical activities are completed safely, efficiently andin accordance withproject and maintenance schedules.

Oversee the installation,maintenanceand repair of critical assets including tanks, pumps, valves, piping systems, loading equipment and associated mechanical infrastructure.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements, including permit‑to‑work systems, isolationproceduresand risk controls.

Work closely with Supervisors, Planners, Operations and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues, minimise downtime and support shutdowns,inspectionsand continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Pipefitter or equivalent, withdemonstratedexperience working in maintenance,constructionor shutdown environments.

Previousexperience as a Leading Hand or in a senior trades‑based role within fuel terminals,



bulk storage facilities, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy,utilitiesor other heavy industrial sectors.

Solid technical knowledge of mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, pipelines, storage tanks, loading systems, rotatingequipmentand associated infrastructure assets.

Proven ability to lead and coordinate work crews, prioritise daily activities and ensure worksare delivered safely,on schedule and to a high standard of quality.

Sound understanding of permit‑to‑work systems, isolation procedures, riskmanagementand safety requirements within live operational or brownfield environments.

Strong communicationand leadership skills, with the ability to mentor trades personnel, build effective working relationships and contribute to a positive, safety‑focused team culture.
