An opportunity has arisen for an Environment & Planning lawyer to join a growing practice advising on a broad range of planning, environmental and infrastructure matters for both public and private sector clients.
Working within a highly regarded national team, you’ll gain exposure to the full spectrum of Environment & Planning work, advising on complex matters that shape major developments, infrastructure projects and land use across Recent South Wales.

The Opportunity
You will advise clients across a broad range of Environment & Planning matters, including:
- Strategic and statutory planning
- Environmental licensing and compliance
- Environmental impact assessments
- Cultural heritage matters
- Land acquisition projects
- Planning and environmental advice for public and private sector clients
This role offers the opportunity to work on matters from initial strategy through to implementation, developing strong client relationships while building broad technical expertise across the Environment & Planning landscape.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Approximately 3 to 4 years’ post qualification experience in Environment and/or Planning law
- Experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm or an in‑house legal team
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A commercial approach to delivering practical legal advice
- Knowledge of Recent South Wales planning legislation will be highly regarded
