Salary: $153,559 - $182,954 + super + salary packaging

About the role
The St Vincent's Health Network Sydney Electronic Medical Record (EMR) program is a major clinical transformation that unifies patient and administrative information into a single, comprehensive system for the hospital.
- Oversee the extraction, transformation, validation, & migration of data from legacy systems into the new EMR
- Direct mapping, cleansing, & reconciliation processes across clinical, administrative, & reference datasets
- Coordinate closely with legacy system owners, D&T; teams, Epic representatives, and clinical stakeholders
- Maintain rigorous quality control & technical validation to ensure data structures remain accurate and secure
- Ensure historical patient & operational records are complete, reliable, & accessible from go-live date
- Guarantee all migrated data adheres to NSW Health data integrity, security, and interoperability standards under the direction of the Lead Architect
- Enjoy flexible working, with a typical fortnight seeing you work 50% from home, 50% from the hospital
About you
- Hold tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science, or data analytics
- Have led data migration, analysis, and integration across large-scale ICT and digital health programs
- Advanced skills in data mapping, cleansing, and validation
- Proficient in ETL processes, relational databases, data structures, and querying languages like SQL
- Have managed relationships with technical teams, architects, and vendors
- Knowledgeable of healthcare data models and terminology standards (such as HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10-AM) to align clinical systems
