Trades Assistant - Mechanical Manufacturing Industry

About the company:

Leading manufacturer in the supply, manufacture, maintenance, cleaning and site service of Heat Exchangers, Oil Coolers, Air Coolers, Plate Heat Exchangers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and Industrial Radiators.

We are looking for a suitably experienced trades assistant who is mechanically minded, positive with their hands and who is looking for something long term.

Key responsibilities:

- Assisting trades with the manufacturing and building of new Heat Exchangers




- Assisting trades with the refurbishment/servicing of existing Heat Exchangers
- Basic assembly - Hand/Air/Power tools knowledge
- Some site work - removal and installation of Heat Exchangers (Training provided)
- Welding capabilities - MIG/TIG (highly advantageous- not essential)

Requirements

Key Requirements:

- Factory/Manufacturing experience - Mechanical or fitting trade background highly regarded
- Solid mechanical aptitude/background
- Assembly and/or welding experience highly regarded
- Strong team player
- Leading engineering company with worldwide presence
- Long term position
