EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER - Hamilton Island Reef View Hotel & Palm Bungalows

Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced and inspiring Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping operations across one of Australia's most iconic island destinations. This leadership role is responsible for driving exceptional housekeeping standards across our accommodation, driving team performance, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction while fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture aligned with Hamilton Island's core values.

- Lead, develop, and inspire housekeeping teams across the Island
- Drive operational excellence, service standards, and guest satisfaction
- Manage departmental budgets, labour costs, and financial performance
- Develop business plans and support strategic objectives
- Oversee performance management, coaching, succession planning, and team development
- Optimise workforce productivity through effective rostering and resource planning
- Maintain quality, safety, compliance,



and environmental standards
- Collaborate with key departments to resolve issues, manage risks, and deliver exceptional guest experiences

What we're looking for:

You are a passionate hospitality leader with a strong background in large-scale resort housekeeping operations. A skilled people leader, you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy developing high performing teams, driving operational excellence, and achieving strong commercial outcomes in a quick paced environment.

To be successful, you will need:

Only candidates with valid working rights in Australia will be considered

- QLD Open/Unrestricted Driver License (Essential)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (Nationally Recognised) (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an Executive Housekeeper or similar management role
- Experience managing recruitment, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and cost-control experience
